Originally from the East Coast, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia many years ago to pursue my education. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia, Texas and Florida. I received my Bachelors Degree from Morris Brown College (Atlanta, GA) and Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University (New York, NY). I have worked in forensic social work, hospital and school settings, as well as a variety of community-based mental health agencies. My practice includes individual, family and couples counseling. For over a decade, I have had the honor of working alongside thousands of unique individuals from all walks of life.
This is a part of me, but these labels don’t define me. I’m a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a professional, an advocate and a motivator. I’m also human…and being human has allowed me the opportunity to have plenty of my own life experiences, work through my own life struggles, learn to accept myself and the things in my life I was resistant to. I’ve learned to accept myself, I truly like the person I call “me” and I choose to really live and show up, each and every day.
